ENERGY

What is energy?  You’ve probably heard of “chi” in Traditional Chinese Medicine, or “prana” in yoga.  “Ki” is the Japanese equivalent, and is the “k-i” in “reiki”.  It is what animates us and everything.  Per author and intuitive, Cyndi Dale, “Everything in this world, from sunlight to cupcakes, is made of energy. Energy is simply information that vibrates or moves. Some energy, such as the energy composing a table or a chair, moves slowly. You can see, touch, discuss, and prove the existence of these slow-energy objects. But most of the energy in this world can’t be seen, heard, or touched through our typical five senses. It moves so fast that we can’t perceive it; usually, we can notice only its effects. Is the energy transmitted by your car radio any less real than the energy that makes up the book on your coffee table? How about the microwaves that zap your food or the satellite transmissions that zip emails your way? You know these energies exist, even though you can’t see them, yet they are vital to your life.” (Energetic Boundaries, 2011.)

What is energy therapy?  Balancing a person or animal’s energy systems through a variety of modalities.  Acupuncture balances the body’s energy system through use of the needles on different points of the body.  Yoga balances the body’s energy system through movement and specific poses.  My practice combines a variety of energy modalities, crystal therapy, hydrotherapy, sound, and aromatherapy in order to facilitate your path in self-healing.  At its lowest level, energy therapy may promote stress reduction, evoking a deep state of relaxation and peace. At its highest level, it may aid in healing all levels of the mind, body and spirit connection, and expand consciousness. My role is that of guide and empowering you to be your own advocate in your healing journey.  It is my honor to walk by your side on your path of transformation for your highest good and the highest good of all.

"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." ~The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
